What's the Cost When Your Rainmaker Leaves?

It seems that the experts all have something different to say about how much it costs you when your Rainmaker leaves your company. Those costs include:
Separation costs like increased unemployment costs, the exit interviewer's time, and Administrative costs.
Vacancy costs like increased overtime and temporary workers.
Replacement costs like advertising costs, recruiter fees, and applicant screening costs.

There is a great article called The Costs of Turnover that has a table showing more of these costs.

You might be floored when you see how expensive it can be to lose your Rainmaker!
